If so, anopportunity has become available to become a part of our evening Parking Compliance team, rostered between the hours of 12:00 Midday and 9:00pm.

Thereis the opportunity for overtime on weekdays and weekends, however it will notbe regularly rostered.

Trainingfor this role will take place over an 8-week period and will require theapplicant to be rostered varied hours between 7:00am and 9:00pm.

The Parking Compliance Team is based at the Dandenong Civic Centre, however therole covers the entire municipality.
What doesthe Parking Compliance team do?
Enforce parking restrictions under the Road Safety Act & Regulations
Respond to and investigate reports of illegalparking
Educate the community on parking relatedmatters
Assist with the monitoring of Councils schoolcrossings

If thisrole sounds like it could be for you, previous experience in a customer servicerole and a good knowledge of Part 12 of the Victorian Road Rules will be anadvantage but is not essential.

Thesuccessful candidate will require a good level of fitness as many patrols areconducted on foot.
You may be required to undertake practical testing and afunctional capacity assessment (physical).
