About the role
Working as part of a collaborative and friendly procurement team at an exciting time in our evolution and growth, we are seeking a Procurement Analyst to play a key part within our journey.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Analyst - Contract and Supply Enablement will play a crucial role in the organisation's contract management process.
Key accountabilities include:
- Review incoming contracts and agreements to identify risks, inconsistencies, and areas of improvement.
- Prepare and draft contracts, including terms, conditions, and clauses, ensuring clarity and legal accuracy.
- Monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deadlines.
- Work closely with contract owners to ensure timely management of contracts and prepare for supplier meetings.
- Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a comprehensive contract database, including contract records, amendments, and correspondence.
- Prepare reports and summaries of contract performance and compliance for management and other stakeholders.
About you
This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, working closely with contract owners within the various functions of Pacific National.
In addition, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Law, or a related field
- Basic understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a deadlinedriven environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, Project Management, Lean or Agile) may be beneficial.
