- Assist in the development, implementation, overview, and evaluation of strategic policy initiatives that contribute to the alignment of business outcomes for the department.
- Assist in the development, implementation and overview of appropriate strategies, policies, standards and guidelines in line with agency requirements.
- Represent the department on committees and working parties.
- Prepare and review reports, briefing notes, submissions, business cases, departmental and other correspondence in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Deliver presentations and reports to senior executives and represent the business unit and agency at internal and external forums.
- There are no mandatory requirements for this role, however experience in policing, criminology, law or a similar criminal justice related field will be considered favourably.
