Key Outcomes and Accountabilities


The aim of this role is to:

  • Support the development, implementation and review of QBCC's planning and performance reporting framework, policies and processes.
  • Research, make recommendations, and facilitate better practices to improve current planning and reporting processes and activities.
  • Support the preparation of timetables for strategic and operational planning, and reporting activities to support the achievement of the team's deliverables.
  • Liaise with other QBCC staff to provide advice and support to divisional and business units in the areas of planning and reporting activities, including assisting with the team in developing a new area of service in internal consultancy.
  • Prepare timely and accurate briefing documents, papers to senior executives, reports, presentations or research and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of QBCC's integrated performance management portal and manage the system when it is operational.
  • Assist the team with general administrative duties, including filing records into QBCC's Enterprise Content Management system, including maintaining team procedure documentation.
  • Demonstrates good judgement by researching, reviewing information and data, and makes recommendations based on evidence, particularly in the organisational planning and performance reporting discipline.
  • Takes responsibility for managing work projects to achieve results. Sees tasks through to completion and works within agreed priorities. Identifies issues that may impact on tasks and suggests improvements to work tasks and business practices both within the unit and across the organisation. Commits to achieving quality outcomes.
  • Builds and supports productive working relationships with team members and other internal and external customers. Actively listens to colleagues and clients, and shares information and ensures others are kept informed of issues.
  • High standard of oral and written communication skills, including being able to persuade and negotiate with others to achieve team outcomes.
