    About the Company

    Davidson are working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Communications Officer with experience with Annual Reports.

    About the Role

    Seeking an experienced Communications Officer to work as part of a small Marketing and Communications team to deliver the Annual Report This includes drafting content, editing, proof-reading, coordinating input from different business units, managing approvals and distributing the report.

    The successful candidate will also support general communications activities as required, such as copywriting, document reviews, and content development for website and social media.

    Skills and Experience Required

    • Strong coordination and compliance skills to manage the annual report requirements guidelines for Queensland Government.
    • Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills, preferably with annual reports, and also across a range of styles including web copy, engaging social media content, articles, media releases and newsletters.
    • Current working knowledge of Plain English and ability to follow the Australian Government Style Manual.
    • Demonstrated experience ensuring consistency of content from multiple authors across a publication.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to rapidly build rapport and engage with internal stakeholders.
    • Proactive team player committed to adding value.
    • Ability to work autonomously with a keen eye for detail.
    • Preferred: Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, Microsoft Project online, Vision 6 (or equivalent) email marketing software.

    The Benefits

    • $62.67 per hour + Super
    • 1 st June to 30 th September 2024
    • Monday to Friday hrs p/w)

    • Flexible Working (2 days from home)
