    $100,631.00 - $129,669.00


    The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) aims to improve the financial stability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia and is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant for the Office of Finance and Resource Management. This role involves overseeing various accounting functions, advising on program development, and supporting junior accountants in financial analysis.

    Duties include:


    • Ensuring accurate recording of agency Fixed/Capital assets
    • Generating financial reports
    • Identifying trends in financial data
    • Developing internal controls for operational efficiency
    • Performing assigned duties

    Minimum Qualifications: Five years of relevant experience evaluating accounting operations, financial transactions, and possessing in-depth knowledge of accounting laws. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with specified accounting credits.

    Specialized Experience: Experience relevant to the position, demonstrating the required skills and knowledge.
