  • Come and join our UH60M Black Hawk team we're on the look out for experienced Materiel Inventory Officers to be based in Victoria Barracks, QLD.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • We are seeking 2 dedicated Materials Officers to work as embedded services with the Utility Helicopter SPO based in Brisbane QLD. The positions will be responsible for the management of aeronautical products, spares, repair of equipment in support of UH60M Black Hawk, using Commonwealth logistics information systems, including but not limited to AIMS, MILIS, CAMM2. Working within a multidiscipline logistics environment to provide Inventory Management support to the Commonwealth within a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
  • With outstanding communication skills, you will have experience working in an Integrated Project Office and have proven experience utilising Defence EMS, MILIS and CAMM2. Ideally you will also have relevant experience within a professional logistics environment and/or relevant qualifications to diploma level.

About you:


You will,

  • Assist in the management of the UH60M Black Hawk inventory IAW and the requirements of the Electronic Supply Chain Manual (eSCM)
  • Coordinate Repair Pipelines for all MILIS managed product
  • Support quotations of repairs and parts through verification of part numbers and configuration status from technical data

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience in a Defence SPO logistics environment
  • MILIS SPO Inventory Controller Qualifications
  • Commonwealth Purchasing/Materiel management experience
  • Prior experience with Commonwealth Instrument to Act, MILIS Purchasing Profiles
  • Qualifications in MILIS Purchasing and Repairable Item management, AIMS Repairable / Consumable, Warehousing
  • Inventory Management experience at a Defence District or Global Level
