- Actively contribute to the development of detailed research programs to achieve R&D objectives.
- Execute research plans, and document results.
- Develop solutions to a variety of moderately complex problems, and implement effective approved solutions.
- Attend and contribute to customer meetings as required.
- Contribute to the successful completion of specific programs and initiatives.
- PhD or equivalent experience in addition to mathematical or scientific tertiary qualifications.
- Experience working within an engineering or project environment (preferably in the defence industry).
- Experience in state estimation, target tracking, and data fusion algorithms such as Kalman filtering, Particle filtering, and Multiple-hypothesis tracking.
- Ability to produce timely and accurate written reports as required.
- Software development skills in Python, MATLAB, C++ or similar.
