Your responsibilities will include:


  • As a Contracts Administrator within Lockheed Martin's Graduate Development Program, you will be exposed to and assist with the following:
  • Contract administration and management, contract negotiation, requirements analysis, and reviews of customer, vendor, and other documentation.
  • The identification of commercial and contractual issues or opportunities within contracts, and address them under guidance.
  • Ensuring Customer Confidential Information artefacts and processes are executed and maintained.
  • Ensuring appropriate and correct terms of operation of our commercial agreements with suppliers.
  • The review of estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Compile and analyse data, and maintain historical information.
  • Develop solutions to assigned problems of limited scope and assist in the implementation of effective approved solutions

Please note:
this is not a practicing role, therefore obtaining a GDLP is not a requirement.


About you:


  • You will have either completed or completing your tertiary level qualification by December 2023 in a related discipline (typically Law, Humanities, Commerce or Business Administration), or equivalent/ combined education with a sound level of academic achievement.
  • The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:
  • Solutions focus, with commitment to delivering an exceptional standard
  • Proactivity and enthusiasm to see tasks through to completion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Strong IT, computer skills and willing and able to adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Motivation for continuous learning.


In addition to this, we look for graduates with outstanding communication skills who have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.

You will have a high learning aptitude and a drive to constantly update your knowledge in a dynamic environment.


Special Requirements:


  • Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Defence Security Clearance. You must be an Australian Citizen and have a tenyear verifiable background.
