Site Location North-West Melbourne

A tier 3 civil contractor based in Melbourne, is seeking a skilled Leading Hand to assist with the delivery of various subdivision and infrastructure projects in the North and West regions of Victoria.

In addition to your hands-on experience in construction, you should also have good administrative ability and a solid understanding of occupational health and safety in the workplace.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

At least 3 years of experience in civil earthworks and road construction, preferably in the Victorian market.
Hold both "C" and "HR" drivers licenses and a construction safety awareness card.
Supervising a team of skilled workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Conducting regular site inspections to identify any potential safety hazards or quality issues.
Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily reports and timesheets.

As a Leading Hand, you will be offered an attractive salary of between $80-$100k + super, with a car and fuel card provided.
