  • Flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement, including work from home options (35- hour week)
  • Permanent full-time ongoing opportunity
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $134,411 to $155,445 + super and leave loading.
    • About You/ Role Join the Health, Safety and Staff Wellbeing team who shapes and leads our health, safety across the department by delivering services and support to our schools and workplaces by creating safe working and learning environments. We are recruiting several Principal Staff Wellbeing Advisors across Sydney. As a Principal Staff Wellbeing Advisor, you will provide direct support to the staff working in NSW public schools and workplaces.
  • Design and develop innovative strategies and approaches to actively enhance and support staff wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with school leadership teams and other key stakeholders. Provide expert advice and case management support to staff, schools, and executive on identifying and supporting vulnerable staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to identify future training needs to uplift capability supporting staff wellbeing.

  • The ability to remain resilient and composed in high-pressure and rapidly changing situations.
  • Strong coordination and leadership skills and the ability to work independently required.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Look for opportunities to design innovative solutions to meet user needs and service demands.
    • Essential requirements of the role
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as education, business, management, social sciences or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of programs and strategies to enhance staff wellbeing in schools.
