    PSG are working with a unique company to recruit an Assistant Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with similar experience to expand their skill set and further their career.

    The role:

    • Month end accounting including journals, prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations
    • Bank Reconciliations
    • Maintain Fixed assets and depreciation schedules
    • Monthly BAS
    • Perform the Monthly Payroll process (Using Xero)
    • Action all associated payroll payments
    • Produce monthly leave reporting to managers
    • Assistance with preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflows
    • Prepare Ad hoc analysis, payments and reports as required
    • Assist with Administration functions within the business

    The applicant:

    • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, or related field or close to completion
    • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in relevant accounting role
    • Knowledge of Oracle or a similar software
    • Knowledge of Xero
    • Intermediate to Advanced computer software skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Proficiency in intermediate Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, standard functions, and pivot tables)
