This is an exciting career opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor business expenses and financial results across multiple sites including,
  • Manage accruals for alignment of costs within the accounts
  • Provide input and analysis in monthly financial results
  • Provide analysis and input for monthly board commentary packs
  • Exception reports and statistics for individual operations
  • Month end processes including journals and reconciliations
  • Continuously improve and maintain an effective financial & operational reporting system
  • Work with the Administration Manager to align operations data and financial outcomes
  • Assist with preparation of detailed annual budgets and interim forecasts
  • Work in partnership with the management team on all areas including result analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with submission of CAPEX requests, asset disposals and transfers
  • Monitor internal controls and partner with the business to assist with compliance

Who you are

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
years in a similar position

  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards
  • Results driven with interest and experience in commercial accounting, data analytics and process/performance improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong time management skills and ability to complete work to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
