    • Flexibility: This position allows for a hybrid working arrangement or full remote work for the right candidate.
    • Location: Head Office based in Bendigo.
    • Work Hours: Full-time position, with the possibility of 0.8 or 0.9 FTE for the ideal candidate.
    About Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR)

    We are FRRR (Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting funding from various sources with the needs of rural communities. Our goal is to create vibrant and resilient rural and regional Australia by providing funding and support at a local level.

    The Role - Chief Financial and Operations Manager

    As the Chief Financial and Operations Manager at FRRR, you will lead the corporate services function, overseeing Finance, HR, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Company Secretary support. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a strategic role in financial management, compliance, and fostering a positive work culture.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide support and reporting to various stakeholders including the Board, Leadership Team, and FRRR Team.
    • Manage financial forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
    • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to achieve strategic goals.
    • Oversee people and culture initiatives for a supportive work environment.
    • Lead employee engagement and talent management.
    Required Knowledge & Skills:
    • Financial literacy with experience in finance and accounting.
    • Proficiency in management accounting and presenting business insights.
    • Experience in delivering high-caliber Board reports and financial statements.
    • Understanding of financial and regulatory reporting.
    • Ability to implement strategies for organizational growth.
    • Strong business software skills and leadership qualities.
    Experience & Qualifications:
    • Membership of CA, CPA, or IPA (MBA desirable).
    • Minimum 7 years' experience in CFO and Corporate Services Manager roles.
    • Experience in NFP funding and complex budgeting environments.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and innovative thinking.
