About the roleThe Chief Financial Officer will support the CEO with strategic direction and advice, including overall financial management of the project's $34.5B capital expenditure budget.
Together with the executive team, the incumbent will create structures for cohesive and effective working relationships to promote a positive workplace culture and frameworks to meet operational and strategic outcomes for the organisation.
Overseeing the delivery of SRLA's Digital Data and IT solutions, the CFO will ensure efficient and appropriate delivery of digital, data and information management, and all Information Technology services.
Working in a high performing environment, the role will partner with skilled and experienced experts bringing to life some of the most forward-thinking ideas in the rail infrastructure and precincts space.
About youCA/CPA qualified, you are an experienced finance executive adept in managing the finance and technology components of complex major capital projects and forming collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve strategic goals within a highly political, fast-moving environment.
You have a track record of leading uplift in efficiency and effectiveness across processes and systems and have engaged, empowered and lifted capability across teams.
You can analyse complex situations, develop creative solutions, proactively identify emerging issues, and implement appropriate mitigation actions based on good governance, commitment to excellence and a high standard of professional ethics.
