    Description

    Excellent opportunity to become a key member of this fast-growing mortgage insurance provider.

    About the role

    • Working closely with the Pricing Manager, this role will assist with and take responsibility for a wide range of tasks with the actuarial and product space
    • Perform technical pricing analysis
    • Prepare reporting of product performance for management meetings and committees
    • Assist with the development of data analytics capability within the product and pricing area in order to improve business performance
    • Assist with client evaluation and due diligence investigations

    About you

    • Relevant tertiary qualification, and working towards FIAA (or equivalent)
    • Minimum 2 years experience in General or Life insurance industries, with experience in LMI and/or banking desirable
    • Working knowledge of financial modelling and pricing techniques
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
    • Experience with SAS, Python, R and Power Bi desirable but not essential
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage with people at all levels including senior management and external stakeholders
