About the opportunity
MTIA is seeking an organised and interactive IT Leader for their finance and contract cost management systems.
The Product Owner - Cost and Contract Management will work within the Office of the Director-General (ODG) and is responsible for managing MTIA's interests in the shared financial systems, on behalf of the Chief Information Officer from within the Enterprise Technology team.
The systems support the Big Build's core financial operations and the contract cost management for goods and services and for construction contracts. Systems include Oracle Primavera Unifier, Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP (ERP), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OACS), Power BI and all associated integrations.
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the position is required to own the product backlog, manage product governance, monitor and report on the service operations and take custodianship of the systems' infosec responsibilities.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of finance and or contract management functions, capability of managing governance forums and fluency in service operations at an enterprise level.
