- Australian wholesale electricity and gas markets experience desirable
- Multifaceted and exciting role within a dedicated and high performing team
- collaborating with system owners, solution architects, developers, and business users to create a product vision whilst overseeing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
- eliciting and clearly documenting business and systems requirements while providing project-level analysis
- proactively identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, resilience, and compliance of existing solutions
- building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external technology service providers to develop a roadmap of initiatives supporting Alinta Energy's strategic goals and transformation of the Australian electricity industry.
- providing people leadership to direct reports and stakeholders, cultivating an inclusive and supportive team environment.
- technical knowledge of requirements gathering, process documentation, project planning, testing methodologies, and change management.
- excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand complex systems and data flows with little or no documentation
- extensive experience with Australian electricity and or knowledge of Australian energy Spot and Contract markets and processes, energy pricing, forecasting would be looked upon favourably
- A natural flair for building robust relationships with stakeholders at all levels and a love for working in a collaborative environment that fosters inclusion.

About the role:
As the Product Owner, you'll be instrumental in delivering business benefits through implementing system and process changes across the Alinta IT landscape, focusing on Wholesale Electricity. You'll collaborate with product owners, enterprise/solution architects, business analysts, and developers to deliver continuous improvement, innovation, and compliance.
