This opportunity sits in our Corporate/Consumer PR team, specialising in finance, fintech, B2 B and techPR work that helps shape brand narratives and contributes to creating stories that drive financial education and inclusion.
The role:
As theAccountDirector(AD), youwillassume direct responsibility for every aspect of the day-to-day management of clientworkin theFin Tech/Corporateteam.
You willberesponsible fordeveloping efficient pitching strategies, translating data and insights intogreat storiesand fostering relationshipswith the mediaand the client.
New business is also an important opportunity for this role, and you will have the chance to work closely with the leadership to bring new accounts, strengthen our partnership with Fintech Australia and stretch your network with exciting opportunities within the Dentsu Group.
As our nextAD,you will ensure tasks arecompletedeffectively, work is carried out to thehigh standardsset, deadlines are met, budgets are properly created and managed, above-average results are achieved and appropriately presented, and clients are happy.
Core responsibilities:
Provides counsel to clients;establishesand builds key client relationshipsOversees and leads a wide variety of communications programmes across multiple channels that meet client objectivesCreates the development of plans, proposals, results reports, creativebriefsand other communications documentsDevelops relationships in Financial Services,Techandother corporateindustriesManages a direct report and oversees a broader team of resources nationallyProvides counselling around corporate/finance pitches to our nationaldentsuteams across different accountsOrganises,directs,and collaborates effectively across teams to achieve results.
Manages client finances together with Group Business Director and finance team, including allocation of resources and time managementMaintains routine contact with key client stakeholders whenappropriate.
Regularly seeks client feedback on the team's performanceA bit about you:
Provides client with strategic advice on how tobest communicate theiractivities/campaignsHave an innate understanding of what makes news, how to develop story angles and be able topitch ideas to the media effectivelyHighly competent in a range of PR services,includingstorytelling, media relations, copywritingfor specific regulation environmentsand styles that suit different media targets,dataand insights analysisBe excited about numbers andExcellent knowledge of the media – the ability to manage a media relations campaign and pitch stories independently5yrs-7ys minimum experience in Account Management or Exec role – able todemonstrateexcellent writing strategies, socialcopyand media releases from this timeWhat'sin it for you:
