Adecco are currently recruiting for 4th Year Apprentices and newly qualified Maintenance Fitters. It is permanent day shift and is located close to Brisbane City.

The role is with a highly reputable international manufacturing company who have been servicing international markets for many years and are the biggest player in their field and hence require the services of talented Maintenance Fitters.

The position is paying a very competitive hourly rate of $41 - $42 per hour base plus super.

It is a 9 day fortnight with an RDO every 8 weeks so you get a 4 day weekend every 8 weeks.

The business will provide 2 months training/induction on the equipment/machinery so you can get up to speed on the fault finding and breakdowns.

Description

Preventative and planned maintenance schedules
Attend to break downs, fault finding and repair.
Diagnostics of break down
Root cause analysis and actively engage in initiatives to improve reliability.
Shut down work at predetermined intervals.
Maintenance documentation on an CMMS system.
Project work.
Continuous improvement participation.
Risk assessment participation.

Profile

Knowledge & Skill

Maintenance Fitters 4th Year Apprentices or newly qualified
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Experience working with motors, gearboxes, conveyors and other production equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Good all round fault finding and diagnostic skills
Quick learner with an enthusiastic attitude and flexible work ethic.
Mechanical aptitude would be highly regarded
Able to work independently.
Good communicator.

Job Offer

You will be rewarded with a great rate of $41 $42 per hour plus super
Day Shift 7am 3:30pm
9 day fortnight
RDO every 8 weeks so every 8 weeks you get a 4 day weekend
Some overtime based on plant requirements
You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team within a growing organisation
