6 month Casual/Temp position with the opportunity to go Full-time

  • 5am1pm or 1pm9pm Mon-Fri

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery used in the production of metal reinforcing products.

Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and dedication to safety will contribute to the production of top-notch materials that support construction projects nationwide.


Client Details


Our Client is based in Queanbeyan and is continuously growing there industry seeking new employees for the growth of work.

They Offer Both Morning and afternoon shifts, the position begins off as a casual working 5 days a week either mornings or afternoons and changes to possible A full-time position after 6 months of employment


Description

  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure machines are calibrated and adjusted properly to achieve product specifications.
  • Load and unload materials onto machinery, following safety protocols at all times.
  • Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identifying and addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes and meet production goals.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete production reports and maintain accurate records of machine operations and product output.

Profile

Machine Operation: Operate assigned machinery to produce metal reinforcing products according to specifications and quality standards.

Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate machines, ensuring proper alignment and configuration for each production run.

Quality Control: Monitor production processes, perform quality checks, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency.

Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs, to ensure machinery operates smoothly.

Troubleshooting: Identify and address minor technical issues during production, escalating complex problems to supervisors or maintenance teams.
