Description
- Set up, operate, and monitor machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure machines are calibrated and adjusted properly to achieve product specifications.
- Load and unload materials onto machinery, following safety protocols at all times.
- Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identifying and addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes and meet production goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate records of machine operations and product output.
Profile

Machine Operation: Operate assigned machinery to produce metal reinforcing products according to specifications and quality standards.

Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate machines, ensuring proper alignment and configuration for each production run.

Quality Control: Monitor production processes, perform quality checks, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency.

Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs, to ensure machinery operates smoothly.

Troubleshooting: Identify and address minor technical issues during production, escalating complex problems to supervisors or maintenance teams.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Documentation: Complete production reports, log machine operations, and maintain accurate records of production output and any incidents.
