- Pay rate: $46.43/hr + Super + Penalties.
Client Details
Alstom is seeking a dedicated and experienced Trades Assistant with experience in sheetmetal and spot-welding operations. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside qualified trades, expand your skill set, and contribute to high-quality projects.
ALSTOM is an international leader in the rail industry, manufacturing a range of products from complete trains to sub-systems, maintenance services, system integration and much more.
They also produce rail transportation including rail vehicles such as monorails, light rail vehicles, commuter/regional trains, high speed trains, and trams.

Description
- Operate the spot welder and ensure the production of strong and consistent joints.
- Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and best practices, particularly when operating heavy machinery.
- Contribute to quality control by inspecting and ensuring the final products meet the required standards.
Profile
- Proven experience working with sheetmetal; familiarity with the standard tools and processes.
- Previous experience operating a spot welder is highly preferred.
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
