SEO Content Writer - Clipchamp

Building and maintaining strong connections across location and time is critical in the world we live in, and the emotional power of media – video, audio, and photos – makes it perfect for fostering personal connections and sharing information.

Our in-browser platform and native Windows app gives users access to professional video editing tools and features alongside a 1 million asset-strong stock library and hundreds of editable video templates. We're the go-to platform that's built with everyday editors and creators in mind.

About the Role

We're looking for a SEO content writer who loves crafting content that educates and inspires - someone excited about bringing our SEO content marketing strategy to life through our blog and video channels. Reporting to our Content Program Manager, you will spend most of your time owning the creation of well-researched content using industry-leading SEO best practices. You'll get to produce a range of content, from helpful how-to guides to inspiration lists that help readers navigate the world of social media video marketing and video editing.

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

3+ years of content writing experience

Prior experience with SEO tools and interpreting keyword data

Knowledge of creator economy and social media video trends

Bonus points if you love:

Online video and contributing to the technically challenging problems we're solving

Maxing out what browsers can do, that's what we're about We were told you can't build a video editing platform in browser, including encoding the final video – but we did

Responsibilities

You'll be:

Writing SEO-optimised content in the form of blogs and landing pages to drive traffic to the Clipchamp website

Creating tutorial GIFs and videos for Clipchamp's video marketing channels to showcase Clipchamp's features

Supporting branded content partnerships with content edits

Directly contributing to research and ideation for Microsoft's blog strategy
