Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 18 months, with possibility of extension up to a maximum period of three years.


A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment, however this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement.

The Opportunity


Our Internal Communications team is looking for a digital content writer to join their team of communications, graphic design and digital content professionals.

The team is a trusted and reliable partner to the agency Executive and NIAA staff, communicating important internal initiatives and helping staff tell their stories.


We are going through a major intranet redevelopment and are looking for someone to support a full schedule of work and deliver great content.

As the Digital Content Writer, you will support the Digital Content Manager in the redevelopment project while maintaining the current intranet, using SharePoint.

You will also contribute to the outputs of the broader team.


Your daily responsibilities include:
- create engaging content for the NIAA intranet using your plain English writing and digital content skills
- update intranet content in response to client requests and in line with best-practice - this means understanding the user need, planning the work, drafting and editing content, and coordinating approvals
- liaise with business content owners
- support intranet analytics reporting
- support the broader intranet redevelopment project.
