- Effectively provide technical assistance and field service to customers by performing one or more of the following thingsEngineering assistance application, programming specifications, etc.Field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance, and warranty implementation.Troubleshooting of hardware and software problems at customer site.
- Effectively provide customer coordination of RA products and systems by performing the following functions:On-site analysis and specification preparationHardware configuration – system and product applicationProgramming assistanceProject coordination between customer, OEM sales, product division, etc.Technical support – field start-up, integration and maintenanceDocumentationTesting and acceptance
- Provide proper reporting of technical, administrative and accounting information as required
- Provide technical assistance to sales and customer personnel on product applications to include alternatives, recommendations, explanations, surveys, etc. to meet the customer's requirements
- Make recommendations for product improvements, especially as they affect operations and reliability of RA products
- Pursue all opportunities to generate revenue for all RA products and technical support services
- Evaluate and approve operational quality of system equipment
- Demonstrate personal leadership for project engineering teams, contract employees, and project support personnel
- Ensure Planned Job Safety Analysis (PJSA) to be performed before undertaking a job onsite
- Takes ownership in overall development including technical, commercial, and personal by having a documented development plan
- University Degree in Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or equivalent) or Trade qualification with additional tertiary education.
- More than 3 years of related experience
- Demonstrates effective communication
- Ability to deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers
- Develop relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Demonstrates consultative and constructive dialogues with customers & internal stakeholders
- Knowledgeable in VSD, MCC, LV related products will be an added advantage

He / She will provide customer support and engineering through the performance of small projects, on-site installation, as well as troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment. This role works with our customers in order to improve and maintain an efficient and productive manufacturing system.
