About the roleThe Regulation Policy Branch has a unique opportunity for a Director of Regulation Policy to play a key leadership role in leading the departments Consumer Affairs policy function and supports the Minister for Consumer Affairs.
In the role you will be responsible for implementing government priorities and commitments including the Housing Statement, through leading the research, development and delivery of policy and law reform proposals and establishing and maintaining effective engagement with important government, community and industry stakeholders.
You will also have the opportunity to influence national policy agendas.As a senior member of the leadership team, the Director plays an instrumental role in formulating and driving the group's strategic vision, including leading and managing innovation that drives reforms and results in best practice.
About youTo be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
A record of accomplishment at senior management level and experience in the implementation of high profile strategic and policy and legislative projects.
Experience in leading organisation strategically, navigate skilfully and provide leadership within the political context and proactively generate and shape ideas.
Proven experiencing in collaborate at all levels.Foster talent and build capability.
Champion diversity and equality.
An appropriate qualification or equivalent experience in the field of law, regulation, economics or public administration would be highly advantageous.
