We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate, and committed industry professionals to join our team as Casual Centre Care Managers.

Western Leisure Services (WLS) is a Local Government Enterprise established to manage three leisure facilities in Wyndham City - AquaPulse, Eagle Stadium and the Werribee Outdoor Pool.

The Wyndham City Council is the sole shareholder and WLS operates independently of Council through a Board of Directors.

We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate and committed industry professionals to join our team as Casual Centre Care Managers (CCM) based at AquaPulse and Werribee Outdoor Pool.

Reporting to the Aquatic Operations Coordinator, the CCM will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the facility is maintained in a safe, hygienic, clean and presentable condition at all times.

Through a strong customer service focus, the CCM will also ensure all patrons are gaining maximum benefit and enjoyment from their experiences at the facility.

The CCM will act as the "friendly face of the facility" and will maintain a broad knowledge of all programs and services.

In particular, the role is responsible for;

The supervision and direction of all employees on shift
Overseeing staff rosters and breaks
Water testing and plant operations
Cash balancing
Customer education
General maintenance and cleaning
Ensuring all OH&S and customer service procedures are adhered to
Service provision hours will be required in a Lifeguard capacity

To be successful in this position, you must possess the following skills and attributes:

Leadership experience in an aquatic / leisure multi-purpose centre
Demonstrated experience in calmly and professionally managing and controlling stressful situations
Ability to motivate staff to ensure the development of highly professional employees
Experience in the maintenance of water treatment and OH&S requirements
SISSS00111 Pool Lifeguard
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid
HLTAID001 Provide CPR
Pool Operations certificate (or similar) highly regarded
Working with Children Check Employee and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
