We are looking for Full Time Centre Care Manager to share our passion for people

Western Leisure Services (WLS) is a Local Government Business Enterprise established to manage three leisure facilities in Wyndham City - AquaPulse, Eagle Stadium and the Werribee Outdoor Pool.

The Wyndham City Council is the sole shareholder and WLS operates independently of Council through a Board of Directors.

Reporting to the Aquatic Operations Coordinator, the duties of this role include but are not limited to:

Responsible for monitoring staff to achieve specific targets and key performance measurements
Maintain a high level of communication and motivation with all staff
Train, supervise and motivate all staff in the business unit
Ensure that all programs are staffed appropriately and that gaps in the roster are identified and rectified
Foster and lead a commitment to personal service excellence
To show clear and concise leadership and to lead by example
Manage feedback from members and customers and resolve any customer complaints as quickly as possible
Lead by example to instil promote a strong customer service ethos through all actions and behaviours
Ensure all patrons are gaining maximum benefit and enjoyment from their experiences at the Centre
Water testing and plant operations
General maintenance and cleaning

Desired Skills and Experience:

Desired Skill and Experience

Experience in managing cash reconciliation.
Highly developed organisational skills including the prioritising of workloads and managing deadlines
Experience in working as a supervisor in a customer service focused environment
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and customer focused quality service delivery
Experience working in a large leisure or fitness facility highly regarded
Working knowledge of PerfectGym or similar Point of Sale software
Experience in the maintenance of water treatment and OH&S requirements
Current SISSS00111 Pool Lifeguard course
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR qualifications
Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or the willingness to obtain
Pool technical operations certificate highly regarded
Ability to construct team rosters and work a flexible roster including shifts that fall on mornings, evenings, and weekends.
