About the Role

They are currently seeking MULTIPLE experienced and qualified Automotive Mechanics or Automotive Electricians to commence as an Automotive Quality Assurance Officer for their growing team in Moorebank.

This is an estimated 6-month temp assignment, with a strong potential to extend.


Reporting to the Team Leader - Technical Officer, you will be required to provide a wide range of technical support to the business unit to ensure the delivery of quality assurance compliance on behalf of the Department.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track specific vehicles through the production process from delivery to changeover
  • Monitor the strip process from changeover to sale
  • Conducting quality audits of the intake of new vehicles and equipment
  • Conducting quality sample checks on the installation and removal of specialist equipment to and from the allocated vehicles
  • Conducting quality sample checks of reconditioned equipment and the vehicle exchange
  • Monitor stakeholder contractual performance in delivery and inspection of vehicles
  • Ensure serviceability of equipment including calibration, issue identification, raising defect reports and quality checks
  • Raising purchase orders for works requested of the Contractor
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of contractors performance for time and quality of all services
  • Provide expertise advice and guidance
  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
  • Strict adherence to all relevant Health and Safety policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

About You

  • Sound Quality Assurance and compliance knowledge
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated asset management experience
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite and SAP
  • Commitment to Health and Safety policies
  • Solid analytical, technical and problem solving skills

Requirements:
  • Trade Qualifications in Automotive or Auto Electrician
  • Willingness to undergo a Baseline Security Clearance and National Police Check
  • Valid NSW Drivers licence
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
