About the opportunity
***You will join our National Health Services Directory Service (NHSD) which is a key piece of national digital health infrastructure. It supports the Australian Digital Health Agency's national strategy for improving digital health integration across the health system.


The Data Analyst is responsible for leading the development of forecasting, analysis, data publication and data management capabilities for the NHSD.

This role will also be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of the data analytics and reporting capabilities within the NHSD, leveraging BI technology investments and advocating for new and improved tooling.


This role will provide technical support to the NHSD Data team to deliver reporting and analysis services to the customers of the NHSD and demonstrate the value of data insights into health service trends, data quality, and operational performance.


You can contribute through your:


  • Experience in data modelling and design, data extract, reporting and dashboard tooling.
  • Experience with Python programming
  • Experience/knowledge of AWS and BI tools (e.g., Qlik)
  • Proven experience in preparing and presenting analysis directly to customers.
  • A passion for engaging and effective presentation of data to inform decisions.
  • Proven ability in utilising statistical modelling, relational data, and analytical methods
