About the opportunity


As the Decision Support Systems Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product management of a portfolio of decision support systems that are at the heart of Healthdirect Australia's multichannel telehealth services.

This role will suit an individual that has worked within highly matrixed stakeholder environments that include system vendors, internal and external operations, and technology teams.

You will have worked in cloud-based technology organisations and be experienced performing product-manager roles. If you have worked in a contact centre setting this would also be highly beneficial.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining critical documentation on the implementation and operations of decision support systems.
  • Coordinating change that impacts decision support systems.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and with vendors in the implementation and operation of decision support systems.


The Decision Support Systems Product Manager will work closely with clinical teams to advise on systems capabilities and implementation to deliver safe and effective outcomes.

This role will also work in both delivery and operations domains.

Healthdirect's decision support systems portfolio currently includes:
- multi-channel clinical decision support systems.
- outcome rules engine.
- initial assessment and referral tool.


What we're looking for

  • Proven handson experience in a product management role.
  • Proven track record of successful business analysis using formal methodologies working with an Agile Technology Team.
  • Experience of participation in development of solution designs.
  • Ability to create and foster consensus from the whole business for a coherent product vision that helps align stakeholder, development, delivery, and service teams.
