We are seeking a self motivated and dynamic individual with proven ability to lead a team and build capacity to manage Collegiate's school sporting program for students in K to 12.


Reporting to the Deputy Principal you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination and content of the School's sporting and co-curricular programs, events and carnivals.

Supported by the Sports Administrator you will work closely to ensure a wide variety of co-curricular sport is offered to students that promotes participation and builds our presence in the community.


Key accountabilities include:

  • Risk management for all cocurricular sporting activities
  • Management of sporting programs in line with SATIS roster
  • The provision of appropriate and high quality interschool sporting opportunities for students
  • School representation at SATIS meetings
  • Policy development
  • Coordination and oversight of term sporting programs in line with SATIS roster
  • Management of coaches, managers and volunteers (WHS, compliance)
  • Data management, records and reporting
  • Sports budget
  • Maintain the profile of sport at Collegiate
  • Academic qualifications in sports, management or complimentary qualifications in sports administration
  • Proven ability to lead a team and build capacity Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to interact effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • High level of organisational and proven management skills in a school sporting environment.
  • Demonstrated administrative abilities with a high level of computer skills in the Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Outlook, Excel), report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • Experience in writing policy and procedures within the scope of Sports Administration
  • A current driver's license
  • An ability to be flexible in working hours when applicable
