About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious individual who can drive a school bus, carry out general maintenance tasks and assist in maintaining our grounds.


The role includes driving of students to and from home, on excursions and movement between campuses as directed, general maintenance, grounds and ancillary duties that includes; set up (and pack-down) of events (marquees, chairs, BBQ's, School Fair etc), rubbish removal, cleaning, unlocking and securing of School buildings and general gardening tasks.


About You
To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Hold an up to date PPV ancillary certificate and the correct driving licence category (or the ability to obtain)
  • Experience in driving buses for minors (desirable)
  • Current First Aid qualification (or the ability to obtain)
  • Ability to perform general maintenance tasks (trade qualifications desirable)
  • Ability to undertake general grounds / gardening duties
  • Ability to work autonomously or as a member of a small team
  • Ability to adapt when changes occur
  • Physical ability to carry out a range of manual handling tasks
  • Understanding of, and ability to apply, Workplace Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Experience in a school environment (desirable)
  • A willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the School.
