About the role
We are searching for a Payroll Lead/Specialist to join this supportive and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an experienced and growing business and have an immediate impact on a values led team environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Leading Payroll function to successful deliver fortnightly and monthly pays.
Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.
Preparation of payroll related documents.
Manage compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
Accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.
Prepare payroll account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate account balances.
Review and improve payroll policies and procedures.

About you
This position is well suited to a Payroll Specialist who prides themselves on their ability to deliver results. The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in a senior payroll processing role with end to end experience.
Good knowledge of Payroll regulations including superannuation & PRT.
Proven experience working in medium to large organisations.
Management of leave reconciliations including long service leave
Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management
