    Description

    This is an exciting Business Support role within the power sector, supporting complex & specialized projects, ensuring reliable power supply for large-scale buildings, shopping centers, exhibition centers, warehouses, & mine sites.

    6-month contract position with potential for extension.

    As Project Officer you will:

    • Be located in DARWIN.
    • Process correspondence through the team inbox and initiate follow-up action to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate and manage the procurement of goods and services for delivery.
    • Provide contract administration.
    • Provide project support in monitoring timesheet submission and processing project invoices.
    • Coordinate new project setup.

    About You

    • Excellent interpersonal skills including well developed oral and written communication capability.
    • You must be able to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience in report collation, data entry and administrative procedures and systems.
    • High level competency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and records management systems such as Content Manager (TRIM).
    • This is a client focused environment, so you will have demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and have a high level of attention to detail.

    A Bit More About You

    • Able to work outside of regular business hours when required.
    • Current NT Driver's licence.
    • Knowledge and understanding of government procurement guidelines.
