    Description

    Exciting pportunity for an experienced and ambitious Financial Accountant to join a privately owned construction business with as part of a growing finance team. This company are working on various commercial and residential projects across Sydney and have a great reputation in the market.

    The role

    Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for:

    • Month end closing
    • Monthly accruals and journal entries
    • Fixed assets and depreciation schedules
    • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
    • Corporate tax- transfer pricing, GST and FBT
    • Reponsibility for internal controls and policies
    • Internal audit reporting
    • Communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders
    • Continuous improvement projects

    Skills and experience

    • CA/CPA qualification
    • Some experience in financial accounting within a commercial setting highly regarded
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
