Corporate Affairs description
Corporate Affairs strengthens stakeholder support and advocacy for CBA by shaping, articulating and bringing to life how the bank is creating a brighter future for all, from individual customers to the national agenda.
Role responsibilities
- Working closely with the EGM of Corporate Affairs and the Executive Manager, Corporate Affairs Strategy, your responsibilities will include:
- Support the office of the EGM to set and drive the Corporate Affairs strategy ensuring alignment with annual and quarterly plans.
- Establish and track Corporate Affairs metrics aligned to key priorities. Monitor and drive progress within quarterly planning and performance cycle.
- Documenting key priorities and deliverables in line with our agile ways of working. We call it Pace.
- Tracking and socialising resource allocation for Pace model, advising on efficiency and effectiveness
- Working alongside Strategy and Performance team members and our agile coaches to help Chapter Areas and Centres of Excellence deliver valuable Corporate Affairs outcomes
- Managing key documents and templates and ways of working in Corporate Affairs
- Assisting with the adoption of new tools and technologies in line with Pace ways of working
- Help shape corporate affairs initiatives and campaigns and contribute to function wide strategic initiatives as required
We're interested in hearing from people who have
- A good understanding of Marketing and Corporate Affairs combined with strategic thinking, problem solving and planning skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, business partnering abilities, and stakeholder management.
- Strong service orientation and well developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills for prioritising demands.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, and an ability to translate thinking into clear and structured recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise and analyse data to develop insights.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Experience in one or more of: corporate affairs, strategy and/or financial services.
