    We are currently seekingexperienced Registered Nurses to join the casual pool at BethanieBeachside Aged Care Home located in Yanchep. Bethanie Beachside isone of our larger sites with 160 beds and offers a range ofamenities, from secure dementia care through to on site cafeservices and a busy social calendar.

    TheRole

    As a Registered Nurse youare responsible for clinical care and case management. Supervision,direction, support and leadership of nursing and care/support staffwill also be required.

  • Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
  • Complete assessment and/or admission requirements
  • Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and/or allied health staff
  • Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
  • Provide coaching/mentoring/training to staff where required

    You enjoy the variety thatworking in aged care brings and the ability to build relationshipswith the residents in your care.

  • Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Relevant clinical experience in aged care including a solid understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and AN-ACC funding model
  • Ability to work independently and professionally
  • Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to confidently use clinical information systems
  • Commitment to a person-centred care approach when providing care services

The purpose of the program is to support your onboarding experience and help you transition into life at Bethanie. You will learn essential knowledge and skills and receive support from your mentor.
  • Salary packaging up to $15,899 per annum for living expenses and $2650 for meals and entertainment. Salary Packaging allows you to pay for your expenses with money from your salary before tax is taken out. Pay less tax, and your take home pay increases
