    Description

    your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care to provide exceptional care to every patient.
  • Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiac and vascular surgeons, nurses, technicians and radiographers to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety.
  • Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery post intervention.
  • Using industry leading computer software and and adapting to technological changes in both equipment and products.
    • The Mount Hospital is looking for skilled Cath Lab or cardiac nurses to join our committed team. We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with interest in angiography - experience in Angiography or coronary care is highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate. Our education program is well established and our staff development nurse will ensure your training needs are met.

    The Angiography suite at the Mount Hospital is a dynamic and busy unit completing over 4120 coronary and vascular procedures a year - and we are expanding further. The Cath Labs provide a variety of specialist services including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology, FFR, cardiac implantable devices, vascular intervention and structural heart cases such as TAVI. We have a team of experienced supportive nursing staff and radiographers delivering the highest quality care and service. There are 3 new state of the art Angiography suites adjacent to our 41 bedded coronary care unit. Along with the 3 labs, we have a Hybrid suite in the theatre complex with easy access to our 10 bedded level 3 ICU.
