    About the role:

    As a Senior Investment Operations Analyst at Hostplus, you'll play a central role within our Investment Operations department. Our primary mission is to ensure efficient investment outcomes for Hostplus members, and your expertise will be integral to achieving this goal. You'll be a vital member of the Operations team, focusing primarily on Investment Operations activities.

    You'll also provide valuable assistance to the wider Investment Operations and Implementation team as needed. As a Senior Analyst, you'll mentor junior team members and work to improve existing procedures, enhancing efficiency.

    Key capabilities:

    • Collaborate closely with other members of the Investment team to implement investment strategies.
    • Independently administer and maintain our investment portfolio.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting, providing data for informed decision-making.
    • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance to protect our members' interests.
    • Manage key stakeholders effectively, building and maintaining strong relationships.

    About you:

    To excel as a Senior Investment Operations Analyst at Hostplus, you should possess these essential skills and qualifications:

    • Demonstrated expertise in managing daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic investment operational tasks. Includes checking daily option unit prices, reconciling fees, and calculating Total Investment Fees & Costs under RG97 (TIC)
    • Strong analytical skills to monitor investment performance fees, analyze fee rebates, and generate investment and asset class analytics
    • Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance, with the ability to assist in regulatory reporting, including Portfolio Holdings Disclosure
    • Effective collaboration with Custodian, Asset Consultant, and other stakeholders
    • Proficiency in disseminating information to ratings agencies and internal department
    • Sound financial acumen to monitor and manage fund cash flow and liquidity levels
    • A collaborative team player who offers support and guidance to colleagues and mentors junior team members
    • Strong aptitude for identifying process efficiencies and enhancing operations
    • A relevant bachelor's degree
    • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CIPM) are advantageous
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
    • Ability to provide leadership within the team, guiding and mentoring junior colleagues
