    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Cost Manager / Associate Director - Mechanical & Electrical, to join our team in our Caberra office.

    Supporting ourclients to deliver projects and programs for Defence projects.

    The position will be to lead on the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)specific deliverables within a larger project or leading direct M&E commissions, such as asset upgrade works.

    The individual must be self-motivated and Client facing (both internal & external) with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients.

    This will involve establishing early budgets, early estimating, and cost planning, tendering and procurement and post contract duties.
    The role will also include management of other Assistant Cost Managers and Cost Managers within the M&E.
    A good knowledge of M&E systems and supply chain is fundamental with the ability to work collaboratively.
    A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveyingservices across the full project lifecycle
    Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards
    Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
    Experience in delivering M&Eelements of work for clients
    Knowledge & contacts within the M&Esupply chain (tier 1 and below)
    Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
    Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
    Excellent people person and great communicator, both client facing and team based
    Ideallyan Australian citizen with NV2 clearance
