    As a standout Senior Group Product Manager, you'll take the lead with a team of passionate Product Managers and collaborate closely with Engineering and Design pros to make the Jira magic happen. Your mission involves owning the new customer funnel and expanding the horizons for existing customers, leading the charge, plotting an ambitious roadmap, and nurturing a top-tier PM team. Your actions will directly impact a vast customer base and millions of users.

    Get set to inspire and uplift squads all across Atlassian to shape the vision, gauge the product's current standing, explore new product possibilities, understand customer needs, and prioritize feature enhancements. This role is a fabulous match if you enjoy the duality of juggling General Manager responsibilities - delving deep into the business while creating captivating user experiences. You'll be reporting to the Head of Product.

    What to expect on day one:

    • Minimum of 8 years of similar software product management experience tailored to this role, also including experience in managing a troop of product managers
    • Over 5 years of experience steering a squad of 4 or more Product Managers
    • Thrived in a culture of collaborative efforts and experimentation, focused on speedy iterations and testing
    • Embrace data literacy. You pinpoint the essential data, craft insights that spark action decisively, and utilize data effectively for sound decision-making
    • Passion for cultivating and guiding Product Managers both individually and within a unified team
    • Enthusiasm for championing software team best practices and mentoring - you're a PM at heart, but also revel in keeping up with the latest in DevSecOps
    • Devotion to solving users' issues, coupled with hands-on experience collaborating with design and engineering to shape delightful experiences
    • Comfortable defining and monitoring key business and usage success metrics
    • Experience overseeing multiple work streams with numerous teams and roadmaps

    Bonus points (although not mandatory) if you also have:

    • Led growth experiment teams in the past
    • Dealt with enterprise software customers
    • Coached software teams on effective collaboration with other teams in the organization

    Offer at a Glance

    At Atlassian, we're all about fair, transparent, and competitive compensation packages. To ensure parity, our salary range baseline is more generous than the market norm, expecting most hires to fall around this range. The final base pay within the range is pegged to a candidate's capabilities, expertise, or background. In the US, we've got three pay zones based on geography. For this role, the current new hire base pay ranges in each zone are:

    • Zone A: $190,400 - $253,800
    • Zone B: $171,400 - $228,500
    • Zone C: $158,000 - $210,700

    This position may also qualify for additional benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
