About the role:
As a Product Manager within the Coles Payment Services team focused on Core products (fixed and mobile PINPads across software and hardware or Switch and Settlement) you will support the shaping, evolution and tracking of the product roadmap and customer value proposition to ensure it is relevant and compelling for the target market.
You'll also:
- Own and manage the product roadmap and product backlog driving prioritisation that meets our commercial, compliance and brand obligations and continually enhancing the overall product value proposition
- Research and have a deep understanding of the broader market and payment trends
- Undertake product development and act as the Business Owner within Payment Services' Projects and Agile workstreams to ensure product requirements are clearly articulated and the delivery meets our requirements
- Work closely and effectively manage a broad group of stakeholders and in particular our brand partners
- Own the vendor management and build out the partnerships with of our SaaS/Technology delivery partners
About you and your skills:
You will have extensive Product Management and delivery experience, ideally gained in digital payments products across the end-to-end value chain.
You'll also have:
- Experience in endtoend product or proposition development (e.g. enhancing existing products or services, or developing new products or services)
- Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to navigate internal and external organisations to build and leverage relationships
- Ability to perform product reporting, economic modelling, and support business case development
- Experience in gathering and articulating business requirements and developing value propositions that align to business objectives
- Strong understanding of the payments industry, payment trends and emerging payment technologies (Knowledge or experience of managing PINPad providers within Australian landscape highly desirable)
- Understanding of payments regulatory environment including card scheme rules
- Ability to lead, manage and develop a small direct team to achieve our business objectives and foster and develop a strong culture
