Position Information:
Belmore South Public School has an enrolment of 267 students, including 81% of students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect.

Current priorities include literacy, numeracy, professional development and wellbeing and inclusion. The school also provides a broad range of extra-curricular activities for students.Selection Criteria:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary with a proven ability to analyse and use a range of data and evidence-based practices including explicit teaching to build the capacity of individuals and teams to improve student outcomes.
Highly developed instructional leadership skills that support the implementation of the new curriculum and quality teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse learning needs of students enhancing their wellbeing, engagement and performance in a complex school setting.
Evidence of an approachable, highly visible, and collaborative leader with outstanding interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain trusting partnerships and relationships with students, staff, parents, the wider community, and local network of schools to enhance and inspire a positive and cohesive school culture.
Proven capacity to lead innovative practice, including technology, and positive whole school programs to enhance and maximise student learning, wellbeing, and engagement.
General Selection Criteria:
- Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents 5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning 6.
