Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Investigate and report on accidents and incidents on site
- Conduct safety training for employees and contractors
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
- Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies regarding safety matters
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry
- Knowledge of relevant safety legislation, codes of practice and Australian standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- A proactive and selfmotivated approach to work
