YORKE Consulting are currently seeking a skilled and experienced construction worker with Manitou operator experience to join our team in Beenleigh, Queensland. This is a full-time position, offering work 6 days a week.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate a Manitou or similar telescopic handler to lift, move, and place materials on construction sites.
  • Assist with general construction duties such as digging, trenching, and site preparation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the Manitou to ensure its proper functioning.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to accomplish project goals efficiently.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience operating a Manitou or similar telescopic handler in a construction environment.
  • Valid and uptodate forklift or Manitou operator license.
  • Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with colleagues.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
