**ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role:

- fixed term part time employment end date July hours per fortnight (includes weekends and public holidays)

  • Mercy Palliative Care, Administration, working across Sunshine and Werribee offices
  • To be an integral part of the Administrative team, contributing to the provision of high quality care for patients and families of the Mercy Palliative Care Program in the community
  • Being part of a multidisciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers

ABOUT Y
**OU: **- Experienced and well developed administrative and office skills - is a must, preferably in a health setting

  • MS office skills advanced in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills and accurate data entry
  • Well developed telephone etiquette with demonstrated techniques
  • Motivated, flexible, extremely reliable, with ability to work at short notice

  • Mercy Palliative Care is a community palliative care service operating in the Western region of Melbourne and provides a holistic multidisciplinary approach to palliative care. We provide psychological and spiritual support, caring for people of all ages with lifelimiting illnesses in their homes as well as complex symptom management. We currently care for over 500 patients across the region in their own homes.
