About the Role:

Applications are invited for eligible medical officers to join our team to complete their BPT2 clinical Year at Mercy Health (Werribee Campus). These are twelve (12) month positions commencing on 5th February 202
Mercy Health has a number of BPT2 positions suitable for eligible applicants holding their General Registration with AHPRA by February 202
Mercy Health offer a supported environment where Senior Medical Staff make an effort to know you personally and our HMO education program comprises weekly education session, incorporating simulation workshops and casebased education sessions.
Mercy Health offers the following BPT Stream rotations in 2024;
General Medicine including Subspecialties 6 months.
Geriatrics 3 months.
Hospital in The Home (HiTH) 3 months.

Applications must be made to

both

the PMCV and Mercy Health.

Australian Trained (Permanent Resident) Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty.
Australian Trained (Permanent Resident) Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty.
Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of a Victorian Medical Faculty.
Temporary Resident Medical Graduate of an Interstate Medical Faculty.
Australian Medical Council Graduate (who has obtained Permanent Residency and is completing the requirements for (or currently holds) General Medical Registration in Australia).
New Zealand Medical Graduates (Permanent Resident or International fullfee student).
International Medical Graduate (Australian Permanent Resident) who will complete 12 months of workplacebased assessment at an Australian hospital (Competent Authority Pathway).

Important information for International Medical Graduates (IMG) - if you do not have General Medical Registration in Australia or you are not currently completing the requirements of an intern year in Australia then you are

Successfully completed both the Australian Medical Council MCQ and the Clinical examination or have advanced standing towards the AMC Certificate under the Component Authority pathway (CA Pathway).
Hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
Hold General (unconditional) Medical Registration with the Australian Medical Board, or currently completing board requirements which will grant you General (unconditional) Medical Registration by the beginning of February 2024.

About You:

Hold general registration as a medical practitioner by commencement of 2024 Clinical Year.
Equipped with excellent communication skills and promote the Mercy Values of Compassion, Hospitality, Respect, Innovation, Stewardship and Teamwork.
Enthusiastic and motivated to make a real contribution to the provision of high quality care to an ethnically diverse, rapidly growing community.
