  • An opportunity exists for Medical Registrars to work in our General medical teams at Werribee Mercy Hospital for the 2024 Clinical Year.

ABOUT THE ROLE:


  • We are seeking Registrars to work in our General medical teams at Werribee Mercy Hospital. Rotations to Hospital in the home and ambulatory care also available. The position is based at Werribee Mercy Hospital which is the fastest growing region in Melbourne.
  • Join our dynamic General Medical teams at Werribee Mercy Hospital. Recruiting Australian Residents/ International Medical Graduates holding a current valid working visa and AHPRA Registration for immediate start, or February 2024 intake.
  • Be part of Werribee Mercy Hospital's exciting future We have 4 general medical teams managing a broad adult case mix including infectious diseases, endocrinology, clinical cardiology, neurology, renal and respiratory. Rotations to hospital in the home and ambulatory care are available.
  • HMOs are well supported by registrars and physicians and there is an active teaching programme.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Must have valid APHRA medical registration
  • Full time or Part Time based at Werribee Mercy Hospital
  • Great experience for a general position
  • Hospital in the home and ambulatory positions great for doctors interested in general practice
  • Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Teaching Hospital located in the rapidly growing suburbs of Melbourne. Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening or our new intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and the opening of two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.
