About the Role
This is a backfill arrangement until 30 June 2024. The substantive incumbent has been endorsed for another year secondment.
The DigiVol Online Coordinator is a crucial role that sits within the Citizen Science & Expeditions Team.
You will be required to use your previous experience to manage the day-to-day operations of the DigiVol Online projects and support the achievement of Australian Museum (AM) objectives.

You will be paid a competitive annual salary $89,707 - $98,983, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 10.5% rising to 11% from 1 July 2023) and annual leave loading.
About You
You will be an exceptional communicator who is able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Your Knowledge & Experience
·Tertiary degree or equivalent experience, in biological sciences or relevant discipline
·Extensive experience working with and building volunteer communities and communicating with non-professional communities such as citizen science
·Knowledge and demonstrated experience in administering website content and databases.
·Experience with the use of communication and social media tools
·Demonstrated experience with and/or understanding of collection data preferably of a taxonomic and/or ecological nature.
